This is Aisling Colreavy’s bright idea for Galway.

Training the community to support young people and families living with autism.

Galway Autism Partnership (GAP) is a community-based charity providing supports to individuals and families living with autism in Galway city and county.

GAP wants to educate and empower the people of Galway to make the world a friendlier place for families living with Autism. We are offering a fun, interactive training programme for community volunteers and families.

We want to equip people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to support young people and adults with Autism in their community.

By providing training in areas such as Child Protection, First Aid and Autism, GAP aims to de-mystify the condition and empower people to form their own support networks across the county.
