This is Josephine Hennessy’s bright idea for Limerick.

Transform our patio space into a calm tranquil oasis where people with disabilities can relax.

HOW WE WILL SPEND THE MONEY

Transform our patio space into a calm tranquil oasis where people with disabilities can relax.

This will benefit our members by them having somewhere peaceful and beautiful to relax in on bright days. It would be a place that they can sit and laugh in as group or even go to for some quiet time on their own.

Our Programme Organisers could run meditation and other relaxation programmes in the peaceful garden. This would really help our members forget about their troubles and enjoy their day in our Resource & Outreach Centre. It is something that they have wanted for a long time now with your help we have the chance to provide it.

The Irish Wheelchair Association in Tipperary Town is a lovely happy place where people with physical and sensory disabilities come to spend their day.

We collect people from all over the south of the county and bring them in for activities on a daily basis. We provide over 75 places a week for people with disabilities and would love to be able to provide them with a beautiful garden too.
